Black_Dawn Reopening!




So my RPG peeps - the B-D RP will more than likely be reopening by the end of the month. We definitely want/need more people so let me know if you're interested! The comm will be undergoing some renovations within the next week or so... and if you have an existing character please get in touch with me to let me know if you want to change anything or whatnot. Also any open threads you have let me know if you plan on finishing them or what. I will be working on a recap post of the existing threads since I'm expecting new members and for a refresher of what's happened to those who were in it as Black Dawn v 1.0!

So, hopefully getting a new tattoo in two weeks or so and need to sort through everything I want and try to figure out what I'm getting at this moment.

Here's ones I have:

-Shamrock on my right shoulder
-Serenity on my right wrist
-Celtic triquetra on my right inner ankle
-"mess up" on left wrist (was intended to be a black rose but... s'not)
-Drama masks on my collar bones


Here's ones I want:

-July 24, 2011 I am getting lyrics added around my shamrock. "Mi Vida Loca" / "You can't tame a wild rose" are the two I'm working with, either both or just one, not 100% sure on details yet.
-Feb 20, 2020 scroll along lower back with "draco dormiens nunquam titilandus" in calligraphy Without the crest, though
-"Mischief Managed" in same font as HP Marauders Map on back of neck, with paw prints on either side (one side wolf, the other side dog) Mischief Managed!
-Giles' tattoo on inner right arm (near vein, inside of lower arm) like this: Mark of Eyghon
-Angel Investigations Logo on top of right forearm like so: Angel&Co
-Rainbow heart on top of wrist, not sure which arm, with lyrics "the lovers, the dreamers and me" incorporated somehow.
-black cat silhouette on outer left ankle with paw prints going around ankle and onto my foot I want the eyes to be purple.
-Cover up tattoo over left inner wrist = black and purple iris with swirly stuffs around it
-ankh behind ear on one side, heartagram behind ear on other side? (not 100% yet but almost)

In-Process of Deciding Still:

-quote underneath celtic knot/seal of rassilon on right ankle
-Left shoulder: faerie scene, colorful to match shamrock
-Alice themed tattoo, still in process, probably on thigh area depending on size
-Something dollhouse/doctor horrible related on right arm (Arm de Joss! Already have serenity in Chinese, and will get giles tattoo so...yeah)
-theatre themed tattoo, possibly other thigh or with drama masks on chest depending on size

Joint Tattoos (aka a later date, with these people):

-With brother: getting the seal of rassilon on my right outer ankle
-With bffl: fleur de lis on inner left arm, design not 100% yet
-With oldest friend: GS trefoil, somewhere - possibly foot?


So when I go in two weeks I am debating on:
-Black Cat & prints
-Giles tattoo
-Mischief Managed & prints
-Ankh&Heartagram

... more or less in that order. Thoughts?

Wow so it's been May since I last posted on here. It's just too hard for me to check so many different sites all the time, especially since I'm back in school. But mostly I'm lazy and also if I miss some my flist on IJ is retarded and won't let me go back any entries, IDK why. So I'm on Facebook mostly. I've got Twitter, which also gets shipped to livejournal and myspace so you can sort of find me there. Sorry guys, I may come back and IJ was nothing but kind to me after my messy breakup with GJ but... still. And now there's Dreamwidth, which I'm also on (trixafaerie for always) but don't really post to. But I digress.

The whole reason this even came up was I wanted to create a blogger page. And then I remembered I had one from 2005. And so I stopped that idea right then and there since I already have way too many sites most of which I've given up on. I'm a compulsive starter but... that's about it. One of the things my blogger page linked to was my oft-ignored fanfiction/general fic pages... and that also made me sad. The last time I wrote something not for school was for my RP on IJ (Black Dawn) which didn't even get a proper burial so I refuse to admit it's fully dead. Again, so little time. Not enough effort.

Effort and motivation are somethings I lack. Procrastination I have enough of. As I have an essay for my writing class which was due two weeks ago, my teacher said I could bring the whole packet in (rough draft, notes, peer reviews, the whole shebang) tomorrow. And I've not started? So hah. *goes off to curl up in bed*

They are called many different things. Others, Pretenders, Supes; and throughout history they have been mentioned in folklore, fiction and even myth, never something that humans grasp as real or concrete. Always subjects of the imagination. How incomprehensibly wrong they are.

Among the humans they exist, coexisting in the same world, but never one hundred percent part of it. If the waking world --the human world-- knew about them... there would be a war. Some of the Pretenders crave it, constantly planning and bend the rules to try and get their kind noticed; but those sorts of threats are usually taken care of. For a council has existed for centuries, comprised of the leaders of the different groups of supernatural beings. They handle everything from covering up a homicide committed by their people to who to place of their own to run for public office.

There are four main types of people—and we’re using people as a relative term here. Humans, who comprise most of the world’s population, blissfully unaware. The majority of preternatural beings live amongst the humans in secret, pretending to be 'normal' like the rest of the population. Because what the humans don't know can, in fact, hurt them. Witches, vampires and weres being the other groups. Vampires are either born a vampire (Strigoi), or made one by another vamp (bitten). The latter would be the majority of the vampires. Weres are either born (again, rare) or bitten, and can be any type of animal really -- werewolves are most common in NYC, but a few wereleopards and wererats and such are around. Witches generally have a specialty-- one 'talent' that overpowers all others. So maybe they're a seer, or can speak with/deal with animals, maybe they're great with plants or have a certain degree of healing.
